The winery was founded by the Kékessy family whose commitment to winemaking is based both on past and future. The family’s ancestors were leaders of the county from the 17th century and their winemaking traditions date back to the same period.
Tradition, values, uniqueness, balance – these ideals express their mission.
In viticulture first class terroirs and strict yield limitation are the cornerstones of high quality and vineyard specific character. To preserve the quality of the grapes during processing a modern three-storey gravity flow winery was built in the heart of the region. During winemaking the wine’s fruitiness is retained and the minerality given by the terroir is allowed to shine.
