Wines of Hungary

This is the first time Wines of Hungary will be present at ProWine Asia and we are proud to introduce six Hungarian wine producers on the national stand this year. You will have the opportunity to meet new, family owned wineries alongside big names of the industry, all sharing one common characteristic: focus on quality and the will to express the best Hungarian terroirs through their wines.

Hungary, once among Europe’s top exporters is now back again on the world’s wine map but this time with “boutique” wine production representing outstanding quality. Discover how the country has reached back to its traditions and restructured its wine business to become an exciting player in viniculture.

This year Hungary awaits members of the wine trade with a new brand focusing on producers, putting them into the limelight to help explain how a wine is born through their vision. We believe that introducing winemakers, viticulturists and estate managers enables us to better articulate the message of a wine region, a grape variety or a wine type.

Masterclasses hosted by renowned wine experts will introduce you to the amazing variety the country has to offer, including indigenous varieties, spectacular regions and hidden gems.
