With szamorodnis it is the vintage that determines the weight of the wines. Whole bunches are picked with overripe grapes and then pressed. In warmer vintages residual sugar is higher, in cooler vintages it remains lower. 2017 is one of the best ever vintages, the szamorodni of this year shows values almost reaching aszú levels.
