Deep ruby colour with garnet rim. The intense nose has aromas of red berries, especially ripe sour cherry that is combined with spicy and smoky, toasty notes from barrel ageing. The taste is fresh and has lively acidity contributing nicely to the fruity character of the wine. Velvety tannins provide a backbone structure and lend great ageing potential to this wine. Give it ample time when tasting it.
