Let’s explore two Hungarian wine regions with strong identities. Tokaj has a long-standing history in making natural sweet wines. The recipe of Tokaj Aszú has been carefully developed over the centuries and today there is no wine more expensive to produce. The master class provides insights into the latest trends in Tokaj including Tokaj drys. Villány is something completely different. Situated at the southernmost tip of Hungary the climate here favours full-bodied, opulent reds with a special emphasis on Cabernet Franc an internationally acclaimed grape variety which however is rarely bottled on its own.
